WE ADHERE TO A STRICT ECO POLICY FOR MINIMISING IMPACT TO THE BIO-HABITAT & TO PRESERVE THE RICH ECOSYSTEM OF THE WESTERN GHATS.

We restrict it to small groups & prefer to admit only sensitive, responsible travelers who understand & appreciate the bio diversity of the Western Ghats.

In the event of any desecration to the habitat or any act or behavior tantamount to it, will entail in the management terminating the stay before the end of its duration with no refund.

No plastic zone.

No loud music / noise or litter permitted.

On priority to admit - Naturalists,birders,Photographers, Students of related fields for non-experimental research,Trekkers, Mountain cyclists or even if one wants to retreat alone and write a book.

Prior to any booking with us, We Request guests to be well aware even accustomed to terrain conditions present in an eco resort with its limitations & challenges of being situated out in the woods.

Though we offer an experience of the deep rainforest without compromising on, Hygiene, amenities and comfort we would like to reiterate & be understood that it is a no-frills nature retreat & not a luxury resort.

Community based management in the true sense as 90% of our permanent / temporary staff are locals from the village, at the fringe of the forest.

A proven premise that the people living next to a resource are the ones best suited to protecting it.

Employing locals as trek guides, jeep drivers, and maintenance staff and also to work in the store & house keeping deptt.

We promote Local enterprise of forest / local produce ( honey, spices etc ) an initiative of western ghats wilderness org for environment sustainable economic development.

Using only renewable source of energy, as power is harnessed by a hydro-turbine from the stream.

Handling organic waste disposal efficiently by composting.
